Trip today...

Today we're heading off to Historic Deerfield Village because it's Home school Harvest Day there and they have a few special programs set up for today. Here are some of the highlights going on today...
Home school families are invited for a celebration of the fall harvest. Go on an agricultural walking tour, card wool, weave on a loom, and help hearth cooks make seasonal foods. Visit the Sheldon House to see how a farm family lived between 1790 and 1810. The Wapping Schoolhouse will be open for early 19th-century lessons. Enjoy a scavenger hunt in the Flynt Center of Early New England Life. Bring a picnic, and have your lunch near the Cooks’Garden. It should be lots of fun and I'm sure the kids will enjoy the trip I'll upload pictures when we get back...

  1. It sounds so fun! I can't wait to see photos! Have a great time! :)

  2. awww Jenn I had NO IDEA you were going, we could have gone together. We went too and had a blast! What did you think of the school house? It was my favorite, but how about that school teacher? LOL!!! She was pretty strict..... ;-)

Oh please let me know you stopped by. I love to read comments on my blog:)
