Well my parents and my in-laws went to Ireland for two weeks, and may have dropped a few "subtle hints" of my NEED for homemade irish wool...hehe
Well they delivered let me tell you!!!
Check out these beautiful skeins. I just love love love these colors I can't even pick out my favorite one..
But I did pick out a few patterns that I want to turn this yarn into...
I also got a shawl from my in-laws and it's just the prottiest green
Isn't this poncho so beautiful, it's one of my favorite shades of green....actually I think I love all shades of green..lol
The kids also got beautiful wool sweaters...well actually Annabelle's is cotton but they were all made right on Aran Island ...how special is that!!!
I really need to go to Ireland in my lifetime. The pictures they took were just breath taking...of course they were it's an Island covered in my favorite color!!! For now I will have to just enjoy pictures and my glorious wool.
Oh Jenn!!! Those are beautiful gifts, wow, I can't wait to see what they become. I am knitting this year no matter what!!! If I have to hire myself a teacher I will that is how serious I am...hahaha I even ordered 3 skeins of beautiful yarn from Etsy so we shall see what I can do with them. :D Love seeing all your magic!
