Not me Monday

Wow it's been a while since I did this but I would love to share some not me moments cause they happen very often to me. If you want to join in on a not me Monday please head over to Mckmama's blog and sign up with Mr.Linky:-)

I did not just take down our Christmas decorations yesterday it's not like it's the end of January..
I'm such a good house wife that I would never dream of feeding my children Ellio's pizza for dinner last week, I only prepare homemade three course meals every night.
I did not just clean the window's for the first time since we moved into our new house..oops can you say black!!!
I don't have a pile of laundry down stairs that could swallow my kids whole, why would that be it's not like I was on laundry strike for the last few days.
I did not take a two hour nap on my husband's day off and then proceed to go to fall asleep on the couch at 8:00 that same night. I would never do that I value my time with the love of my life.
I would most certainly not allow my six year old son to play Barbie's with his four year old sister and when I say play I mean act out and talk in a high pitch barbie voice.....I would never do that because I wouldn't want him to become a gender confused child...Right I mean boy's are only suppose to play with trucks and trains....
And of course I censored the graphic details of the mummification process during our Ancient Egypt unit study...Who knew that a six year old would get grossed out talking about brains being ripped out of their noses?

Well that's all folks of the not me monday momments although I'm sure I could go on forever....

  1. Thanks for dropping by my blog! Just to make you feel better....my Christmas decorations are still up (as long as they're down before Valentine's Day, right?), I can't remember the last time I cleaned the windows (the girls like to do them, and even though they don't do a perfect job, I let them), and my oldest daughter has been loving Ancient Egypt, especially the mummy part! :-) LOL The other day she told me she wants to be an archaeologist when she grows up (in addition to being a ballet teacher, a chef, and a mommy, of course)!
