Stash Bash

So I've been crafting along with crunchy catholic momma in her awesome stash bashing Thursday post. I have to admit I had other plans for this weeks post but I just didn't get around to it, I've been spending most of my time on my yarn along project...but I'm the kind of crafter who likes to work on different things throughout the week. I also like to bite off way more then I can chew but I think I work best when I put pressure on myself..lol So this weeks stash bash projects were of course another dress..I've made it a personal effort to make at least one every week for her so she'll be all set for the spring before baby #4 arrives. I have to admit this is twirliest dress pattern I have. It's one of her favorites because it's so long on her and she loves to twirl and sit really quick so the dress makes a big ring around her...boy do these kids know the secrets to a joyful life.

My second project I've been working on is woodworking and making a few toys for the kids. My husband is a very big toy maker and after his Christmas production he had a lot of scraps that he offered me so I've been trying to make some simple toys here and there for the kids. I cut out a couple figures on my scroll saw and I've wood burned them, so now I just need to sand some of the edges and paint them. The horse it still in the beginning stages, but the other figures are a Tomten, a cluster of mushrooms and a little woodland girl, none of which have anything to do with each other...lol

Next week for sure I will get to my other project that was on my list for this week!! Thanks for stopping by and don't forget to visit the stash bash to join in on the fun!!
